Rice Pilaf

Rice Pilaf
 
Serves: 4
Ingredients
  • 1 t. Western Family Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1-1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 (4 oz.) cans Western Family Sliced Mushrooms, drained
  • 2 c. Fat Free Chicken Broth
  • ½ c. Western Family Sliced Almonds, toasted
  • 1 c. Western Family Long Grain Rice
  • 2 T. minced Italian parsley
Instructions
  1. Saute onion in oil until tender.
  2. Add mushrooms, broth and rice and bring to a boil.
  3. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Stir in almonds and parsley.
  5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
