Ingredients
- 1 pkg. egg roll wrappers (get in cooler section of produce area)
- 1 whole small red cabbage or ½ large red cabbage
- 1 whole small green cabbage or ½ large green cabbage
- 3-4 carrots, grated
- 2 T. butter
- 1 large ginger root, grated
- ⅛ c. soy sauce
- 2 small onions, finely chopped
- 1-2 c. high-heat vegetable oil (not olive)
Instructions
- Chop onions and saute in butter in small saucepan until clear , 4-6 min on med heat.
- While onions cook, slice cabbage into thin ¼" sagittal slices then slice crosswise.
- Start cabbage heating in large skillet. Add soy sauce. Grate carrots and add. Add onions when they are ready.
- Heat cabbage until it is soft, about 20-30 minutes.
- While cabbage is cooking, you can chop up additional ingredients but don't add them until cabbage is done and drained.
