Spicy Sausage & Cheesy Rice
Serves: 8
  • 2 bags Western Family Boil in Bag Rice
  • 1 lbs. bulk pork sausage
  • 1 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 can (14.5 oz.) Western Family Diced Tomatoes with Green Chiles
  • 2 T. chili powder
  • 2 c. Western Family Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
  1. Prepare rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In skillet, cook sausage until browned and crumbly.
  3. Add onions and cook until tender. Drain off excess fat.
  4. Stir in tomatoes, chili powder, rice and cheese.
