Spaghetti with Meat Sauce
Serves: 6-8
Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 1 (28 oz.) can Western Family Diced Tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz.) can Western Family Tomato Sauce
- 1 (6 oz.) can Western Family Tomato Paste
- 1-1/2 t. Italian seasoning
- 2 t. Western Family Sugar
- 16 oz. Western Family Long Spaghetti (1/2 pkg.)
- Grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown meat; pour off fat.
- Add onion, garlic and green pepper, cook until tender.
- Stir in remaining ingredients except spaghetti and grated cheese.
- Simmer uncovered 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions, drain.
- Top with meat sauce and Parmesan cheese.
