Spaghetti with Meat Sauce
 
Serves: 6-8
Ingredients
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped
  • 1 (28 oz.) can Western Family Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) can Western Family Tomato Sauce
  • 1 (6 oz.) can Western Family Tomato Paste
  • 1-1/2 t. Italian seasoning
  • 2 t. Western Family Sugar
  • 16 oz. Western Family Long Spaghetti (1/2 pkg.)
  • Grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, brown meat; pour off fat.
  2. Add onion, garlic and green pepper, cook until tender.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients except spaghetti and grated cheese.
  4. Simmer uncovered 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Cook spaghetti according to package directions, drain.
  6. Top with meat sauce and Parmesan cheese.
