Cheesy Rice and Broccoli Casserole

  • 1 pkg. Western Family Chicken Flavored Rice Mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz.) Western Family Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 2 c. Western Family Frozen Broccoli Florets
  • 1 can (8 oz.) Western Family Sliced Water Chestnuts, drained
  • 1 c. Western Family Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • ¼ c. Western Family Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • ½ c. Western Family Seasoned Bread Crumbs
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Coat a 2 quart oven-proof baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Prepare rice mix according to the package directions.
  3. Add undiluted soup, broccoli, water chestnuts, cheese and bacon bits to rice mixture.
  4. Stir to combine and pour into prepared baking dish. Top with bread crumbs.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until bread crumbs are browned and casserole has reached an internal temperature of 165°F.
