Soft Coconut Macaroons
Serves: makes 2 dozen
  • ¼ c. Western Family All Purpose Flour
  • ⅔ c. Western Family Granulated Sugar
  • ¼ t. Western Family Salt
  • 2-2/3 c. Western Family Sweetened Flaked Coconut
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 5 oz. Western Family Sliced Almonds
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, salt and coconut in a mixing bowl.
  3. Stir in egg whites and almond extract. Stir in almonds. Mix well.
  4. Drop tablespoonfuls onto lined baking sheets.
  5. Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Cool completely on baking sheets.
