Peanut Butter Triangle Snacks
Ingredients
- 4 c. Western Family Oats & More Cereal with Honey
- 2 c. Western Family Miniature Marshmallows
- ¾ c. almond brickle baking bits
- ⅔ c. packed Western Family Brown Sugar
- ½ c. Western Family light corn syrup
- 2 T. Western Family Margarine or Butter
- ½ c. Western Family Peanut Butter
Instructions
- Line an 8 or 9-inch square pan with aluminum foil; spray with vegetable cooking spray.
- Combine cereal, marshmallows and brickle bits in large bowl; set aside.
- Microwave sugar, corn syrup and butter in medium microwave-safe-bowl on HIGH 2-1/2 to 3 minutes* or until mixture comes to a rolling boil (Or, bring sugar, corn syrup and margarine to a rolling boil in small saucepan, stirring constantly. Remove from heat).
- Stir in peanut butter until smooth.
- Pour over cereal mixture. Stir quickly and thoroughly with rubber scraper until all pieces are evenly coated.
- Pour into prepared pan; press down firmly with scraper.
- Chill 1 hour. Lift from pan using foil; remove foil.
- Cut into 16 squares; cut each square in half diagonally to form a triangle. Store in airtight container.
