Peanut Butter Cookies

Peanut Butter Cookies
Serves: makes 3 dozen
  • ½ c. Western Family Margarine
  • ½ c. Western Family White Sugar
  • ½ c. Western Family Brown Sugar
  • 1 Western Family Egg
  • ½ c. Western Family Creamy Peanut Butter
  • ½ t. Western Family Vanilla Extract
  • 1-1/4 c. Western Family All-Purpose Flour
  • ½ t. Western Family Baking
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cream together margarine and sugars.
  3. Add egg, peanut butter and vanilla extract and blend until fluffy.
  4. Add flour, baking soda and salt and stir until blended.
  5. Measure out tablespoon-sized mounds of dough onto parchment-lined cookie sheets.
  6. Make a criss-cross pattern with fork on top of dough.
  7. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until set but not hard. Do not overbake. Allow to cool for 3 minutes on the baking sheets prior to removing.
