  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. Western Family Peanut Butter Chips
  • 1 c. Western Family Flour
  • 1 t. Western Family Baking Powder
  • ¼ t. Western Family Salt
  • ½ c. Western Family Peanut Butter
  • ¼ c. Western Family Butter
  • 1 c. Western Family Brown Sugar, packed
  • 1 t. Western Family Vanilla
  • 2 Western Family Eggs
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In the top of a double boiler, over hot not boiling water, melt ½ cup peanut butter chips. Stir until smooth. Remove from heat. Set aside.
  3. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
  4. In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, butter, brown sugar and vanilla. Beat until creamy.
  5. Stir in melted peanut butter chips.
  6. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each addition.
  7. Gradually add flour mixture.
  8. Stir in remaining peanut butter chips.
  9. Spread evenly in a greased 9-inch square pan.
  10. Bake 35-40 minutes. Cool in pan.
