Ingredients
  • ½ c. (1 stick) Western Family Margarine or Butter, softened
  • ½ c. packed Western Family Brown Sugar
  • ¼ c. Western Family Sugar
  • 1 Western Family Egg
  • 1 t. Western Family Vanilla Extract
  • 1 c. Western Family All-Purpose Flour
  • ½ t. baking powder
  • ½ t. Western Family Baking Soda
  • 2-1/2 c. Western Family Toasted Oats Cereal, crushed to 1-1/2 c.
  • 1 c. Western Family Raisins
  • ⅔ c. Western Family Powdered Sugar
  • 3 to 4 t. Western Family Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  2. Beat margarine, brown sugar and sugar in bowl.
  3. Add egg and vanilla; beat well.
  4. Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda in separate bowl.
  5. Add to margarine mixture; mix well.
  6. Add cereal and raisins, stirring until thoroughly combined.
  7. Spread evenly in bottom of prepared pan.
  8. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool.
  9. Combine powdered sugar and milk; stir until smooth. Drizzle over top. Cut into squares.
