Classic Cream Cheese Frosting
  • ½ c. Western Family Unsalted Butter (softened)
  • 12 oz. Western Family Cream Cheese
  • 1 T. Western Family Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 4 c. Western Family Powdered Sugar
  • ½ T. lemon zest
  1. Beat butter and cream cheese together until fluffy and smooth.
  2. Add vanilla, powdered sugar and lemon zest; beat until well blended and fluffy.
Makes enough frosting for a 2-layer 9-inch cake or 13 x 9 inch cake.
