Serves: makes 2½ dozen
Ingredients
  • ¾ c. Western Family Vegetable Oil
  • ¼ c. Molasses
  • 1 c. Western Family Brown Sugar
  • 1 Western Family Egg
  • 2 c. Western Family Flour
  • 2 t. Western Family Baking Soda
  • ¼ t. Western Family Salt
  • ½ t. Ground Cloves
  • 2 t. Western Family Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 t. Ground Ginger
  • 1 c. Western Family White Sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. In large bowl combine oil, molasses, brown sugar and egg.
  3. Add flour, baking soda, salt, cloves, cinnamon and ginger.
  4. Stir to combine.
  5. In separate small bowl put white sugar.
  6. Roll dough into 1” size balls and roll each ball in the white sugar.
  7. Place on parchment paper line baking sheet 2” apart.
  8. Bake for 10 – 15 minutes or until slightly golden brown.
  9. Cool completely.
