Serves: makes 2½ dozen
Ingredients
- ¾ c. Western Family Vegetable Oil
- ¼ c. Molasses
- 1 c. Western Family Brown Sugar
- 1 Western Family Egg
- 2 c. Western Family Flour
- 2 t. Western Family Baking Soda
- ¼ t. Western Family Salt
- ½ t. Ground Cloves
- 2 t. Western Family Ground Cinnamon
- 2 t. Ground Ginger
- 1 c. Western Family White Sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- In large bowl combine oil, molasses, brown sugar and egg.
- Add flour, baking soda, salt, cloves, cinnamon and ginger.
- Stir to combine.
- In separate small bowl put white sugar.
- Roll dough into 1” size balls and roll each ball in the white sugar.
- Place on parchment paper line baking sheet 2” apart.
- Bake for 10 – 15 minutes or until slightly golden brown.
- Cool completely.
