Caramel Cluster Bars

  • 30 Western Family Caramels
  • ¼ c. Western Family Milk
  • 2 bars (1.55 oz. each) milk chocolate, broken up
  • 6 c. Western Family Honey & Nut Toasted Oats Cereal
  • 2-1/2 c. Western Family miniature marshmallows
  1. Butter 9-inch square baking pan.
  2. Place caramels and milk in large saucepan.
  3. Cook, stirring constantly, until melted and smooth.
  4. Stir in chocolate until melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
  5. Microwave Directions: place caramels and milk in large microwave-safe bowl.
  6. Microwave on HIGH 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth.
  7. Add chocolate. Microwave on HIGH 30 to 60 seconds; stir until smooth. (Due to differences in microwave ovens, cooking time is approximate.)
  8. Gradually add cereal and marshmallows, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated (marshmallows will not completely melt).
  9. Press into prepared pan with back of buttered spoon.
  10. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Cut into bars. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
