A Berry Fruity Pie with Buttery Struesel

Ingredients
  • 1 (15 oz.) Western Family Reftigerated Pie Dough Crust
  • ⅓ c. packed Western Family Brown Sugar
  • ⅓ c. Western Family All-Purpose Flour (if using frozen fruit, use an additional 1 to 2 tablespoons flour when preparing filling)
  • 1 T.Western Family Granulated Sugar
  • 8 c. Western Family Mixed Berries, Blueberries, Raspberries, and Sliced Strawberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1-1/2 c. Western Family Triple Berry Toasted Oats Cereal, coarsely crushed to ⅔ c.
  • ⅓ c. packed Western Family Brown Sugar
  • ⅓ c. Western Family Sweetened, Flaked Coconut
  • 1 T. plus 1 t. Western Family Flour
  • 2-1/2 T. cold Western Family Butter or Margarine, cut in small cubes
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Place pie dough into a 9-inch pie plate. Fold edges under and press together to form piecrust rim. Prick crust all over, sides, and bottom, with fork. Cover edges of crust with aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning.
  3. Bake 10 minutes.
  4. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F.
  5. In a large bowl, combine ⅓ cup brown sugar, ⅓ cup flour, granulated sugar and fresh or frozen fruit.
  6. Toss gently and spoon into prepared crust.
  7. Bake 30 minutes.
  8. In a small bowl combine crushed cereal, ⅓ cup brown sugar, flaked coconut, and flour.
  9. Add butter and mix with a fork or pastry blender until crumbly.
  10. Sprinkle mixture over partially baked pie.
  11. Bake an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown.
