Ingredients
  • 4 T. unsalted butter, melted, divided
  • 1-1/2 c. sweet baking apple (peeled, cored, and sliced ¼ " thick)
  • 2-1/2 T. non fat dried milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 6 T. water
  • ½ c. flour
  • 1 t. cinnamon
  • ⅛ t. nutmeg
  • 3 T. sugar
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • ¼ t. salt
  • powdered sugar or maple syrup
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. In blender combine: 2 T. melted butter, milk powder, eggs, water, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, sugar and salt. Blend well.
  3. In an oven ready skillet (10-11” wide) combine 2 T. melted butter and apples. Saute apples until tender.
  4. Pour batter over the apples and transfer skillet into the oven.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle with maple syrup.
  7. Cut into wedges and enjoy immediately.
