Pan Fried Oysters

Pan Fried Oysters
  • 1 (8 oz.) can Western Family Whole Oysters, drained
  • 1 Western Family Egg, beaten
  • 2 T. Western Family Sour Cream
  • 3 c. Western Family Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs
  • 2 c. Western Family Butter
  • 3 T. Western Family Vegetable Oil
  1. Mix the egg and sour cream in a bowl.
  2. Coat oysters in egg mixture.
  3. Coat oysters in breadcrumbs. Allow oysters to sit in breadcrumbs for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat oil and butter in large sauté pan.
  5. Fry oysters in butter and oil until crisp and golden on each side. Drain and enjoy.
