Cranberry Almond Granola

Cranberry Almond Granola
Serves: 9 cups
  • 4 c. Western Family Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • ½ t. Western Family Salt
  • ⅔ c. pure maple syrup
  • ¼ c. Western Family Canola Oil
  • 2-1/2 c. Western Family Sliced Almonds
  • 2 c. Western Family Dried Cranberries
  1. Preheat oven to 300°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a large baking pan with sides, bake oats for 15 minutes, stirring twice.
  3. In a small bowl combine the maple syrup and canola oil.
  4. In a large bowl combine baked oats, salt, maple syrup mixture, almonds and cranberries.
  5. Toss to coat oats, cranberries and almonds with syrup mixture. Evenly spread mixture onto two lined baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
  7. Serve with chilled milk or top with vanilla yogurt. Store in a sealed container.
