Ingredients
  • ½ c. Western Family Brown Sugar
  • ½ c. Western Family Granulated Sugar
  • ¼ c. Western Family Vegetable Shortening
  • ¼ c. Western Family Butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 t. Western Family Vanilla Extract
  • 1 T. Western Family 1% Milk
  • 1 c. Western Family All-Purpose Flour
  • ½ t. Western Family Baking Powder
  • ½ t. Western Family Baking Soda
  • ½ t. Western Family Salt
  • 1 c. Western Family Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1 c. Western Family Pecan Halves and Pieces
  • 1 c. White chocolate chips
  • 1 c. Western Family Dried Apricots, minced
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease a glass 9” x 13” baking pan.
  2. Cream together brown sugar, granulated sugar, shortening and butter. Add egg, vanilla extract and milk and blend well.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, soda and salt to butter mixture and mix well. Stir in oatmeal, pecans, white chocolate chips and dried apricots.
  4. Spread cookie dough evenly in the baking pan.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until light golden brown.
  6. Cool and cut into squares.
